RDRM.ONION is a point-and-click browser-based horror simulation game where you play a user searching for a Red Room video*. Through pop-up windows and obscure invitations, you must persevere to get your hands on this lost media filled with gruesome truths.
Our goal was to create a game with an emphasis on analog horror and the exploration of the dark web, particularly the Red Room category*, which falls under the definition of lost media due to its secrecy.
Developed as part of the January 2026 Game Jam on the theme "Lost Media," a collaboration between Gobelins Paris and Esiee-IT.
*Red Room: "Red Rooms" are live streams depicting the torture, murder, suicide, or rape of one or more people. In these clandestine films, the victim is not supposed to be an actor; This is a person experiencing the events depicted. (Source: Wikipedia)
